Quality policy
Since its creation, Maison Alexis Lepers has made it a point of honor to guarantee reliable products to all its customers. To do this, we have implemented precise control and analysis processes for each of our products. This rigor has allowed us to obtain several certifications in particular.

A certified Yvelines workshop
Aware that at the origin of each product, each ingredient, there are territories and men, we ensure that our CSR approach is respected by each of the parties. Maison Alexis Lepers is IFS and ECOCERT certified and has received numerous innovation awards such as the Grand Prix Innovation SIAL 2012 for its saffron spray.
The IFS-FOOD certificate helps meet the requirements of European distributors in terms of quality, food product safety and traceability.
The ECOCERT certificate is the result of a rigorous process that consists of assessing, independently and impartially, the conformity of a product, service or system according to environmental and social requirements specified in a specification or standard. ECOCERT is a reference in organic and ecological labeling, recognized by consumers.

Our cooperative at Senou Village
With more than 500 hectares, the SENOU village is the largest saffron village in Persia. At the foot of the Yellow Mountains and irrigated by spring water thanks to the Qanat systems, the saffron grown there is of exceptional quality. Comparable to an underground aqueduct, a qanat constitutes a constant and regular source of water. Thanks to this irrigation feature, the saffron cultivation in SENOU is recognized by the FAO as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System (GIAHS).
Maison Alexis Lepers decided to create a cooperative to bring together the hundred producers present on SENOU by providing them with all the necessary equipment and fertilizers selected for growing saffron. Through this cooperative, Maison Alexis Lepers has committed to various sustainable development projects such as converting saffron fields to organic cultivation or guaranteeing producers a purchase price higher than the market price.

Ensure a high level of quality
Thanks to the implementation of short supply chains, we control the quality and traceability of all our products.
Our workshop in Saint Cyr l'Ecole is IFS-Food (higher level) and Ecocert certified. We can therefore guarantee you the highest level of quality.
